About this scholarship

Dell Scholars is built for students who already did the hard part: finishing an approved college-readiness program (Avid, Upward Bound, and others on their list) while dealing with personal challenges. The award is $20,000 plus a laptop and textbook credits, with advising that continues through college. Pell eligibility and a 2.4 GPA floor are typical. This is one of the few national programs that treats grit as the point, not a side note. Confirm your prep program is on their eligible list before you write.
