About this scholarship

ACS Scholars funds African American, Hispanic, and American Indian students who intend to major in chemistry or a closely related field. Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 and can renew. High school seniors and undergraduates with a chemistry path are eligible. You will need transcripts, a statement of interest, and a recommender who can speak to lab or class work. If chemistry is actually your major — not a vague STEM checkbox — this is one of the more direct society scholarships on the list.
